- Fellowship Class
Join a diverse group of individuals and couples who come together to study the Bible. WE use the Adult Bible Studies series of quarterly booklets. The lessons this quarter unify around the theme of "Freedom" and cover 'Rescue,' 'Justice,' and 'Faithful Conversations.' Lesson scriptures come from both Old and New Testaments. Open class discussion is welcomed. The Fellowship Class meets in the Christian Education Wing and is taught by Kitten Whitlow.
This will be a "hybrid" class, meting in-person while continuing with Zoom for those who are out of town or who feel more comfortable with Zoom. Some may go back and forth with Zoom and in-person, depending on their situation. Our study this Fall will be the smaller books of the New Testament, such as I, II and III John, I and II Peter, James, Jude, Hebrews, and Philemon. Some of these letters are less than a page long. They are sometimes referred to as the Catholic Letters, with "Catholic" referring to the church universal rather than the Catholic Church. We many then study Hebrews and/or James. The classes are taught by Cathy Law, Sara Reese and Susan Deihl. These classes are recorded and are available on the BACC YouTube channel and on the Sojourners Sunday School Class page.
